The sizes listed are the overall outside size of the rooflight. Your upstand / framework must be 60 mm smaller each way than the rooflight. For example, a 1000 x 1000 mm rooflight needs a 940 x 940 mm framework (outside size).

Our own BI flat rooflight, designed by roofers who got tired of fixing leaking rooflights. It's triple glazed, A-rated and made with toughened glass for a clean, frameless look from inside.

Installation requirements

Sizes are the overall outside size of the rooflight. Your upstand / framework must be 60 mm smaller each way (e.g. a 1000 x 1000 mm rooflight needs a 940 x 940 mm framework).
The upstand must be at least 75 mm above the finished roof level.
Ideally, build the upstand with a 1:60 fall.
An insulated thermal break is needed on the inside of the upstand. This can be done with an insulated slab fitted up to the underside of the glass.
